Sports Director/Sports Anchor
Kevin Shea is the Sports Director at Charter TV3. He started working at Charter TV3 (formerly WGMC-TV3) in 1997. Kevin is the primary Sports Anchor Worcester News Tonight. He is also the play-by-play announcer for Charter TV3’s college and high school football game of the week, high school and Holy Cross basketball, and is the analyst for Worcester Sharks hockey.
Kevin co-hosts the award-winning Friday Night Football Frenzy. Shea has won multiple awards for his efforts including a Telly Award for his work on Edwin Rodriguez: The Making of a Champion and a Frist Place NECTA Award for his work on the Friday Night Football Frenzy. Shea played football and lacrosse at Acton-Boxborough High School and lacrosse at Bentley College. He graduated from Bentley with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications. Shea has worked as a fill-in sports anchor/reporter at WHDH and New England Cable News in Boston. He also served as a Sports Anchor for the former Cape 11 News in Yarmouth, MA.
